Brummie extreme metal band Anaal Nathrakh have released a new song entitled "Idol", taken from the upcoming eighth album Desideratum, which is set to be released via Metal Blade Records on 24th October (GAS) and 27th October (Rest of Europe).
On their flight to New Zealand, American Airlines lost the bass belonging to State Champs'
bassist, Tony Diaz.
The band are very displeased with the carelessness of American Airlines and are hoping to retrieve the bass
soon. This news is very reminiscent to when American Airlines broke the guitar of Keith Latinen, guitarist and
vocalist for the band Empire! Empire (I Was a Lonely Estate).
After taking some time off to drop verses on a slew of industry remixes, RCA recording
artists Sicko Mobb are back with some new music. “Range Rover” features the duo getting back
to business in the truest sense of the word.
This song will no be featured on their forthcoming mixtape, Super Saiyan Vol. 2,
which should drop later this year.
Indiana progressive metal quintet The Contortionist have released a music video for 'Language I: Intuition', which is the second track from their upcoming album Language due out September 16th via eOne/Good Fight Music.
The latest release by New York-based post punk veterans Interpol, El Pintor, is now
streaming in its entirety over at NPR. The group's 5th album is the hotly anticipated
followup to 2010's Interpol, and will be released September 9th.
Australian band Hands Like Houses have announced a new EP, titled Reimagine,
to be released September 16th through Rise Records. The EP will contain songs from their
2013 LP, Unimagine, alternatively performed.

The Eisenwald record label has begun streaming the new debut record of Australian
shoegaze/black metal band Autumn's Dawn through their official Bandcamp page.
The album, Gone, is a follow-up to the band's self-titled debut EP released last
Autumn's Dawn is the latest project of Australian multi-instrumentalist Tim Yatras, known
for providing vocals to the band Austere, as well as playing in a handful of other groups
including Germ and Woods of Desolation.

Coheed & Cambria frontman Claudio Sanchez shared a new "work in progress" acoustic song called 'Atlas' - dedicated to his newborn son before the band departs for their Neverender tour starting in September.
Coheed is currently planning to enter the studio in early 2015 to record a new album after the tour.
During the MTV VMA Awards, Eminem announced a new compilation album, Shady XV, with a
tentative November 28th Black Friday release date. It will be a double album, with the first
disc containing the greatest hits of the rapper's label, Shady Records, including songs by
Eminem, Bad Meets Evil, Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf, while the second disc features new
songs from Eminem and his labelmates. The compilation is set to come out fifteen years after
the 1999 formation of Shady Records and the release of his sophomore effort and major label
debut, The Slim Shady LP.
Shady XV's lead single, 'Guts Over Fear', features Australian-born singer-songwriter
Sia, and is also on the soundtrack for Antoine Fuqua's upcoming film The Equalizer.
