Revocation detail sixth album 6 replies

Boston death/thrash metal band Revocation have released information regarding their upcoming sixth full-length album, titled Great Is Our Sin.
Released through Metal Blade Records and produced by Zeuss, like its predecessor, Deathless, the new LP is due out on July 22.

Great Is Our Sin will feature new drummer Ash Pearson, and a guest solo on “The Exaltation” by Marty Friedman.

Guitarist/vocalist David Davidson comments on the new album:
"The concept revolves around the folly of man throughout the ages. Some themes come from historical references that are hundreds of years old, yet sadly these themes are still very relevant today due to mankind's refusal to learn from the lessons history has taught us, time and time again"

The Fall of Troy release OK#2 42 replies

The Fall of Troy, having recently released 'OK' last month after a six year hiatus, has suddenly released a second LP, entitled 'OK#2'. The band stated on their website, thefalloftroy.com:

A note about OK#2:

More art is always better, we think.

When we were making this album, we wanted to do a few things we haven’t had the chance to do previously in our career; work with multiple artists, work with multiple producers, and work only for our fans.

We understood when working on this album that everyone hears The Fall of Troy differently. We would like to respect that, and you, as much as possible.

So, here is a different take of the album, with a different take on the artwork. OK#2 represents a different version of us; the raw fury you hear at our shows and our earlier albums.

If you would like to continue to support, pay us what you want, or don't. This is for you.
