| Aa And Bfmv Headlined Pulp
Few months ago i went to Pulp Summerslam, an annual music
festival here in the Philippines. It was a really good experience so,
here I provided some brief insights for the bands that performed. | 1 | | Crossfaith Apocalyze
Japanese Electronicore band, and the opening act. Very energetic live and
they're turning the pits into one rave party due to their electronics. Decent
performance at best. 3.7/5 | 2 | | Kreator Phantom Antichrist
European Thrash titans, with a very aggressive playing. I rarely venture thrash
(barring Sepultura and Death Angel), but speedy riffs and chaotic drums are
witnessed. Vocalist's performance is a show-stealer. 4/5 | 3 | | Hatebreed The Divinity of Purpose
Nu Metal. I love Ill Nino so I carefully watched to know what this band can
offer. I really don't know why but they wear weird outfits. Very consistent
playing for a Nu-Metal band that gets the crowd going. Good Stuff. 3.9/5 | 4 | | Death Angel The Dream Calls For Blood
I love Relentless Retribution and really adore The Dream Calls for Blood so i
was very stoked to see them live. As expected, savages on the pits are
bringing in the war and im very happy to hear some of my favorite tracks live.
Thrashes hard. HARD. 4.5/5 | 5 | | Asking Alexandria From Death to Destiny
British Metalcore band and also one of the two Headlining bands.I have a soft
spot for these guys due to my early musical experience, so i was also happy
to see them live for the first time. 17 tracks containing some of the best tracks
from their catalogue are played, and quite the performance given by Danny
Worsnop and the rest of the band. For some reason they are very consistent
live, and to be honest Danny's torned voice now suits his new singing style the
most. It was highly enjoyable. 4.3/5

The Final Episode (With Linkin Park and Pantera? sampling):
http://youtube.com/watch?v=FHmuACZnAP0 | 6 | | Bullet for My Valentine Temper Temper
Another Metalcore band, the last headliner. I've heard a track of these guys
before, and somewhat they are decent. However its obvious that many people
have paid to see them solely, but for the most part they successfully brought
the goods live. Promoting themselves by playing tracks from Temper Temper,
the crowd is going insane. Matt Tuck is beast live. 3.7/5 | 7 | | The Black Dahlia Murder Everblack
Death Metal. The last but not the least. Their guitar tones are pretty
heavy, and vocals are pretty good. At this point, many people are going home,
but die-hard fans interestingly moshed all the way. Undoubtedly one of the
best performance for the night 4.6/5. | |

07.27.14 | Live performance can really make a big difference even for a mediocre band. What are your thoughts for these guys? Have you seen them live? | krthll1
07.27.14 | Glad to see Asking Alexandria is improving live. They have been the butt of many jokes about ramping it up on the record to slow down and suck live. I want to see The Black Dahlia Murder at some point, hopefully for a celebration of Miasma or Everblack. Hatebreed has always seemed like they would kick ass love just for the energy Jasta throws out there. | krthll1
07.27.14 | Are improving live* | JesusMilosovic
07.27.14 | Lol @ Hatebreed being nu metal | ericu03
07.27.14 | krthll1 yeah they can handle stuff live. Black dahlia's pretty awesome too so hopefully you could get the chance. | FearThyEvil
07.27.14 | Hatebreed is actually awesome live. They're not nu-metal at all though. | krthll1
07.27.14 | Hatebreed would probably be classified as hardcore in my mind but they are bit harder to classify for a mainstream metal act. The Black Dahlia Murder are one of the more famous metal bands to come out of my state so I make sure to support the hell out of them. Crossfaith sounds interesting based upon your description. | Pheromone
07.27.14 | Though you meant Jarvis Cocker and the like, which raised lots of questions. | Artuma
07.27.14 | jarvis cocker was awesome a few years ago i saw pulp
i don't have even the slightest interest in this event tho | ericu03
07.28.14 | Pheromone No, no im not referring to the band Pulp. The festival i've attended is PULP SUMMERSLAM.
Fear, yeah they're pre awesome live. From what i've heard, they sound like nu-metal though. | EyeForAnEye
07.29.14 | Hatebreed isn't Nu Metal lol |
