The Feels From 2014

top 10 from '14. recs always appreciated!
1The Hotelier
Home, Like Noplace is There

The instrumentation and lyrics on this album combined with the range of songs is really
outstanding; Tracks to listen to: "The Scope of All This Rebuilding" "Your Deep Rest"
"Dendron"
2Have Mercy
The Earth Pushed Back

It may have come out in 2013 but I discovered it in 2014 and it has been on replay ever
since. Vocals are just abrasive enough to be able to replay it over and over and enjoy it
every time. Tracks to listen to: "Let's talk about your hair" and "Hell"
3Foxing
The Albatross

A real grower. Tracks to listen to: "The Medic" and "Rory"
4Trophy Scars
Holy Vacants

Dark as hell and i love it. Tracks to listen to: "Extant" and "Archangel"
5 Moose Blood
I'll Keep You in Mind, From Time to Time

less complex overall compared to the others on this list but really enjoyable to listen to.
Tracks to listen to: "Pups" and "Bukowski"
6Gates
Bloom and Breathe

In a few weeks this might end up higher on this list but since I just started getting into it,
here it is. Listen to: "Not My Blood" and "Born Dead"
7Ben Howard
I Forget Where We Were

Listen to "Time is Dancing" and "Small Things"
8Pianos Become The Teeth
Keep You

Despite the criticism by so many, I quite enjoy this album. However, I think it couldve been
better with longer songs and better buildups, as they were going with a more post-rock type
of vibe. Listen to "Say Nothing"
9Have Mercy
A Place of Our Own

Have Mercy does it again, although not quite as powerful as The Earth Pushed Back. Listen to
"Spacecrafts" and "To Convey"
10Young The Giant
Mind Over Matter

Relaxing. Listen to "Firelight"
