My Kind of Woman Best Song?

ATTENTION LONG TEXT So, I have listened to the song "My Kind of Woman" by Mac Demarco yesterday and I have to say...That's not even love I'm feeling towards this song. I mean, I like Mac Demarco very much. Hes got an very unique sense of style and humour which i appreciate and he seems like a nice person. And his relationship with his girlfriend Kiera Mcnally is just too adorable. I discovered him as his album 'Salad Days' came out and Chamber of Reflection was kind of a big thing (even I liked that song very much) and I listened to that album, not completely but almost through. And I found it very interesting, yet I didnt bother to listen to more stuff. But that changed when I suddenly, somehow, found a video on the internet called 'Piano Time' (y'all might be familiar with this video) and I happened to notice a nice melody (beeing the song 'Another One' he talked about) and so I was interested in the song and listened to the whole on spotify and... puh, boy I got addicted. Though Im not familiar with the content of the lyrics (meaning I cant identify myself with that situation or having experienced somewhat like that) I still found the song so overwhelming and I listened to it over and over again, I somehow cried along with Mac every time he sang 'Must be another she loves'. Honestly though I felt kind of stupid, to the fact, as mentioned, that im not familiar with the situation at the moment, but the song is kind of heartgripping and etc. So I'm of course excited about the upcoming mini-lp. But I still somehow did not botter to listen to the old stuff. But that changed when I downloaded the app Cymbal on a recommendation by your all beloved internet music nerd Anthony Fantano in his review for the new Ratatat album (for which actually didnt care, i just got on this video by accident, but nevertheless I noticed this little announcement at the beginning where he explained the cymbal app, which I ultimately downloaded). So I followed theneedledrop on this app and...

and he shared a Cymbal (which basically is a song recommendation) of a song by Mac Demarco called 'My Kind of Woman' and at this point my whole life changed. I clicked on this Cymbal because I was kind of curious and interested and that because I've never heard a song of Mac on his previous albums. I clicked on it, not expecting what would come and... The Cymbal was a short sample of the song, starting with the chorus. Oh, god, it was heaven! At the moment I didnt realize what beauty I just listened, all I knew was that I wanted to listen to the whole song. And as I found out that there was a video to it I watched it immediatly. This has to be the most sweet video I have ever seen. Dont botter the video, it was the song mostly that enchanted me so abruptly. And again, I couldnt cooperate with the content of the lyrics, due to the fact that I'm not in a relationship or experiencing that kind of love at the moment (god that sounds cheesy ^^), but this whole song is just a rollercoaster.

This emotions are so unimaginable. But what i find very funny is that actually the lyrics are just plain simple. Theres nothing poetical or ambitious about it, just simple words that straighforward get to point. Essentially it's actually nothing astonishing but hes doing it in a way where I just have to feel with him when I hear these unforgetable words 'You're my, my, my, my kind of woman' with these high sweet guitars playing this beautiful melody with these melancholic synths in the background. But it's somehow so hard to describe why this song is so special and why I have to title it the best song ever. This song just lets you feel so mortal/immortal and you just get every time this feeling belonging to the most beautiful (young) love story you've ever experienced. Its so full of heart and there's some kind of magic to it. But there's soo much to it. Its so lighthearted and so lightheaded. It feels eternal. It may seem cheesy at times but its not. I've never experienced such beauty

So, somehow I have to get to a point, an actually I've lost my point. An I've lost words on describing this track. I can only tell you I've never witnessed something like this before with such a loving feeling. And that's what's exciting me about Mac DeMarco('s songs), even though I cant feel with the lyrics, I do, I do deeply and sink in some sort of paradise. Adding I can I tell you, if I find 'my kind of woman' I know what I would I like to show her (absolutely) ^^ Ergo I can only recommend you listening to this track I you haven't and would like to hear what you've got to say. Didnt check for typos
