06.03.16 | Nirvana were the greatest.
Foos started off good, 2nd album was a belter than it all went turd and music in general died |
DoofusWainwright
06.03.16 | yeah I see it that Foo Fighters are the flag bearers for music turning shit |
Conmaniac
06.03.16 | neither interest me as much as they did back when I was 13 so |
PlasticRadioBand
06.03.16 | Foo Fighters do suck but Dave in general is such a spirit that keeps me thinking rock isn't dead in modern times.
Nirvana still shits of FF tho |
torts
06.03.16 | literally what's the point |
Rawmeeth38
06.03.16 | this is dumb |
Rolling Girl

wham49
06.03.16 | foo fighters, Nirvana had 2 good albums, and were way overrated |
claygurnz
06.03.16 | 'This is dumb'
Precisely. I did it because of all the dumb 'who is more influential than who' lists going around atm. |

06.03.16 | People who say Nirvana were overrated are the sort of people who like Foo Fighters.
Nuff said |
Conmaniac
06.03.16 | nah both are overrated IMO. I like Nirvana more though |
danielcardoso
06.03.16 | Zak, ahah nailed it. |

06.03.16 | Nirvana are incredible. Foos are just my dad's favorite band |
ArsMoriendi
06.03.16 | Nirvana by a light year |
AlexKzillion
06.03.16 | Wasting Light is the best mainstream rock album of the last I don't know how many years. Very underrated imo. But other then that album and their first three albums they are pretty average.
Nevermind is overrated af (not so much around here though). In Utero lives up to the hype. Still have not heard Bleach.
Gotta go Foo Fighters though because of nostalgia. |
Ocean of Noise
06.03.16 | The Foo Fighters are great at what they do, but Nirvana were way better. |
majordevlin
08.04.16 | Nirvana all the way.
Foo fighters is the band that's overrated. |
Snake.
08.04.16 | "foo fighters, Nirvana had 2 good albums, and were way overrated"
fucking lol |
miketunneyiscool123
08.04.16 | Fuck Nirvana. I'll take Foo Fighter though I'm not crazy about them. |
danielcardoso
08.04.16 | Lol funny that this list is being bumped, spinning the foos s/t now. I don't really like the foos but the debut is turning out surprisingly great, nirvana is a fucking class band though. |
miketunneyiscool123
08.04.16 | @claygurnz Have a pos' for that profile pic brewski. |

InFlamesWeThrash666
08.04.16 | both are overrated |
wham49
08.05.16 | neither but FF had a career, Nirvana was a flash in the pan with one famous song that sucked, that made them |
bentheREDfan
08.05.16 | Nirvana. In Utero is fantastic. |
MarsKid
08.05.16 | FF has one album you could call 'overrated'
Site seems to hate them generally, though I don't think they're as bad as people say. |
majordevlin
08.05.16 | "Nirvana was a flash in the pan with one famous song that sucked, that made them"
That would be wrong
Nirvana had four singles off Nevermind.
2 singles off In utero and that album went number 1
MTV Unplugged which is a classic went number 1 |
wham49
08.05.16 | ok I will give you Unplugged, the best Nirvana. It had many many covers though they were around about 3 years, so 2 maybe three albums if you throw in Bleach, a couple decent songs they through hype went number 1 which doesnt earn them points in my book, many terrible pop band shit went 1, "look at the boy bands from the late ninties" FF have been arond for about 18 years now and many pretty solid records, not 5's by any means but solid |
miketunneyiscool123
08.05.16 | Either way, fuck Nirvana. |
majordevlin
08.05.16 | Actually Nirvana was a band for close to 7 years. We have no idea where Nirvana would be at now as all the other bands that got popular around that are still making music, and still have a good fan base.
To compare Nirvana to boys bands of the late 90's is just wrong, and on top of that Nirvana was not a pop band. Calling Nirvana a pop band is like calling Judas Priest hip hop. |
danielcardoso
08.05.16 | Yeah nirvana definitely had a brief stage in their career where you could call em pop punk, nevermind being that stage obviously, besides that there's not much pop elements in their other material besides the odd exceptions ('sliver', 'about a girl', ...). |
Sinternet
08.05.16 | foo fighters first two > nirvana > other foo fighters |
majordevlin
08.05.16 | Nirvana - Nevermind as a identifier for popular music yeah I agree. Nirvana might have has some elements of pop punk, but they took elements from a lot of different styles. I still don't put Nirvana in the genre pop music. |
danielcardoso
08.05.16 | "foo fighters first two > nirvana > other foo fighters"
having just heard the first couple of foos records yesterday and today, and thoroughly enjoyed the debut in particular, i still wouldn't put either ahead of nirvana, which is not a knock on the foos at all. |
danielcardoso
08.05.16 | Ahah not really 'EVERYTHING' but i guess lol. |
wham49
08.05.16 | never called them pop, just "pop"ular like the hype of the pop bands, which made them highly overrated by high schoolers who dont know the difference between good and bad music, generally speaking |
