12.10.12 | 2 years ago you would have got the piss taken out of you for this list.
Now the new users are so shitty that the fact you will end up like Chan isn't a bad thing. |

12.10.12 | what if he likes radiohead though |

12.10.12 | old stories. i mean, come on. that's the most derivative post-rock album ever. except for maybe all is violent all is bright. |

12.10.12 | Eh, well I figured I would get some shit. minty, I am actually looking to you to get some more post-rock bands to listen to. It may be derivative in your eyes, but with the limited scope of the genre, it seems incredibly passionate and grandiose. |

12.10.12 | Thanks Keith, it's appreciated.
@wonarabbit, I definitely don't claim to be all-knowing, I'm here to learn. As it stands though, I love so many genres that my love for music can be confusing haha. |
minty901
12.10.12 | yeah i know its all opinions and im in the minority about both those albums i mentioned. i sometimes get a nice feeling from old stories, but its just a watered down version of earth is not a cold dead place in my eyes. |

12.10.12 | Glassjaw, radiohead, thrice, brand new, and Closure in moscow are damn good picks. |

12.10.12 | 23 rules good list |

12.10.12 | yeah, and though I love earth is not a cold dead place as well, I have a hard time comparing the two because of my blind love for both bands. I understand where you're coming from, though. |

12.10.12 | Thanks, Minus! Love closure in moscow! |

12.10.12 | God Loves Ugly is my go-to album when I'm driving to work in the morning, demi. |

12.10.12 | Glad other people like New Medicines by Dead Poetic. That's such a great album.
I'm also a big fan of Thrice, Brand New and City & Colour, but I prefer Little Hell over his other two albums. |

12.10.12 | Yeah, man! Dead Poetic should be generic on paper, but I absolutely love it. It's catchy and passionate. City and Colour are one of my favorites, Little Hell is a close second to Bring Me Your Love. |
Ecnalzen
12.10.12 | I know, I still can't get enough of Taste The Red Hands and The Dream Club Murders (among others). They just put out a really nice blend of rock with some post hardcore tendencies.
I think the all acoustic C&C albums get a little stale after a while. Don't get me wrong, they both have some songs that I immensely enjoy (Sam Malone, Comin' Home, and Waiting to name a few), but I liked Little Hell more because he added more instrumentation and spiced things up while still delivering some more great material. It's his most consistent for me.
Also, is Daedalus just like one of the best songs ever to you, too? |

12.10.12 | I see what you mean about the varied instrumentation regarding Little Hell. I love all of his stuff, honestly. I connect more with Bring Me just because I think it has stronger melodies and slightly better lyrics. And yes, Daedalus is amazing hahaha. It was one of the tracks that ended up having to grow on me, but it is a masterpiece. |

12.10.12 | When I wrote my review for that album, I kind of overlooked Daedalus as a standout, and regret it immensely haha. |

12.11.12 | interesting mix of stuff. i can dig it |

12.11.12 | Well, signal, there is always that edit review link on your profile page...
Daedalus gets me everytime. From the intro with those beautiful guitars to the bridge with that flowing bass line into the ending with Dustin's especially stellar performance with the "Oh gods, Why is this happening to me?" lyric section. Whole thing gives me chills. |
