ButteryBiscuitBass 12.14.12	Damnation is good and so is heritage, to be honest I prefer the metal, I don't like the fact Mikael sort of thinks he's going to write a prog album that slays. He never will, Opeth had a formula, it was progressive, but not to the level of old school prog where they mix styles up.

LloydNewgreen 12.14.12	Blackwater Park is at least better than Watershed. Their first 4 albums I haven't listened to enough, because I don't have the CDs, but out of the 6 I know really well I would say 1. Blackwater Park 2. Ghost Reveries 3. Deliverance 4. Damnation 5. Watershed 6. Heritage Still Life would probably go somewhere in the top 3.

OmairSh 12.14.12	Kind of like 12/12/12, wont ever see it again. Buttery Heritage is a good album, should've been better but there is quality on it nonetheless. But you said you prefer the heavy stuff so I guess thats why you didn't enjoy it as much. But I like the direction they're taking, the next album will be important.
ButteryBiscuitBass 12.14.12	I did enjoy heritage Omar, I Feel the Dark, Haxprocess, Famine, The Lines of My Hand and Folklore are all killer. I just feel it was a bit lapse in places and didn't compare to the metal! But I am looking forward to their next offering.
