The most underrated of their albums. The drum sound is like nothing ever heard before. Eric Carr really helped inspire Kiss toward a much heavier sound, which I prefer. And other good news, the lyrics are meaningful. Not every song is about getting laid, which is much more appreciated. I see an increase on this album in musicianship and inspiration. It sounds like the music was made to be music, not to make money.
