I know, another rather pointless ranking list that is going to get hated by everyone. But I just feel like sharing my views on Chevelle considering that fact I quite literally just started listening to them only about a few months ago. And before you rage on me, this is a personal list. Keep that in mind.
Definitely the one that I enjoyed most out of all of the albums I've listened to. "Antisaint" is probably my favorite song by Chevelle period.
The first album by Chevelle that I listened to and I really liked it. I always keep getting "Sleep Apnea" in my head after listening to this album. It's such a great album.
I really do think the rating for this album is a little overblown but it's still a wonderful album. I don't know why but Chevelle always has a thing with opening songs in their albums because this was sold when I first listened to Ouija Board. Also, One Ocean is underrated.
Wonder What's Next
Before "La Gargola," this was probably the most well known of Chevelle's albums. Honestly, I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to since it did feel like some of the songs really dragged the album. I probably just haven't listened to this enough to get really into it.
Hats Off to the Bull
Kind of the same deal with WWN but this time it was the same sound that Chevelle had that was put into this album. It didn't have a lasting/memorable impact but it was still a solid record nonetheless.
This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In)
I tried, I really tried to like this album, but a lot of the songs were either really really boring or not even memorable at all. I've listened to this album plenty of times and I just can't get into it. This is in know way their best album at all.
Just an overall piss poor album, even if it's their first. I might give it another try sometime but I have more important things to do right now.
