That's like me with Fringe. Show has steadily gone downhill, and they've dropped plots and re-jigged and restarted the show far too many times now, but with only a handful of episodes left quitting now would just be a waste of too much time invested |

I pretty much gave up on Fringe when the whole parallel universe thing started completely taking over the show. Only worth watching now because John Bishop.
The Walking Dead's a good show though. It gets undeserved hate, but I guess that's just backlash from when the show was getting, well, undeserved praise. Third season has been the best thus far. |

The problem, I think, with this show is that it keeps becoming harder and harder to find ways to create drama without simply killing people off. In the comic, a lot of the climaxes are just deaths. And that's fine for about three or four arcs, but it dies eventually. With the show, you get sick of it even quicker and the character of The Governor is not nearly as interesting as he was in the comic. |

My understanding is that Heroes basically got raped by the Writers' strike in 2007(?), and the show just tried to recover from that and it never did.
When it comes to what was actually put out, I admit I don't even remember the Governor---I just remember some weird shit like Sylar becoming Nathan or something. My main issue was that no character ever was quite a menace like Sylar. I actually appreciate the whole psychological spin on his character, but it never really amounted to anything because the writers didn't write a plot around this internal struggle. In fact, I can't even remember what the conflict was in the later seasons. (I haven't read the source material btw).
Anyways it's been a while so I'm probably talking out of my ass. Season 1 of Heroes is still one of my favorite shows |

Even though Breaking Bad is the best TV show in recent years. It's got superb acting, it's amazingly well written and the character development is nothing short of inspiring.
