What To Review/digs/recs

So I haven't been on this site for ages. As of current I've been finding a bunch of new music but don't have a working pair of headphones. Everything on this list has been listened to about once at low volume on a laptop. CD's and headphones are on the way, baby. Opinions on these albums? Only done two reviews, any recs for third review? Other music to check? Thanks

Welcome to Sky Valley

Stoner rock/metal/desert rock? Whatever, this is the best damn album I've heard in
a long time. Cant wait to get new headphones and blast this. The riffs are so damn
riffy. Gardenia, Space Cadet, Demon Clean, Supa Scoopa Doopa whatever and
Whitewater are what I remember as highlights.
2Ten East
Extraterrestrial Highway

Jam rock/Desert rock. Really liking this spaced-out desert vibe stuff. This one's
entirely instrumental. Love it, cool guitarwork, and some nifty riffs on songs like
"Draggin' Balls." Gets relentlessly repetitive sometimes though.
3Brant Bjork
Jalamanta

Left Kyuss and made some chill stuff. More of this desert scene crap. I dig it. Plus
he named his band 'Brant Bjork and the Bros.' Brant Bjork and the fuckin bros, bro
4Faith No More
Angel Dust

Took my sweet fuckin' time checking this out but it kicks ass. Mike Patton belongs
in a high security mental institution. On a side note this album is pretty sweet, few
of the tracks will need some growing time. 'Malpractice' is fuckin crazy

Everyone Into Position

Not so sure. Some of this is great, namely 'Music for a Nurse' is the clear highlight,
and Heaven Alive is super infectious. A lot of it just kinda sounds like lame
Porcupine Tree B-sides though. Will have to check again when the headphones
arrive, it might be a grower

Mushy post rock shit. I like it though, feels like this is where Chino's heart is at as
Koi No Yokan was pretty half-assed. Tired of Deftones. His vocals fit the style
perfectly too. It all kinda blends into one on first listen, don't remember any
particular standouts

Oceanic

Well this is...big. A lot to digest. Really liking this style though, any recs along
these lines are welcomed. I remember the opening and closing tracks as being
particularly epic.

Asymmetry

Looking forward to this, 'We Are' is a great song. Every time I type their name I
cant get over how gay it looks. Karnivool. Fucking disgusting.
