HolidayKirk 12.21.12	The gameplay in Mass Effect has aged very poorly, the characters and story are still compelling but the gameplay itself is frustrating. The only reason I'd recommend it is to import your decisions into Mass Effect 2, it makes a big difference. But you could skip straight to ME2 and be fine, thats one of the best games ever made so fo-sho play that.

Also, I'm currently playing through Star Ocean: Till The End of Time for PS2, Chrono Cross for PS1 and FFXII and XIII, which are the two that people really seem to hate, but which I absolutely love (XII especially. Consider that I've never played through a Final Fantasy game, and I really hate random battles). Also love Fallout 3.

DamnVanne 12.21.12	If you have an SNES or an emulator then there is a game called Terrenigma/Terranigma that is most excellent. I think it's part of the Secret of Mana series. If you're not old enough to go that old school, Final Fantasy 13 is way better than folks give it credit for, and FF12 is fuckin immaculate

TenSecondsToThink 12.21.12	Dragon Quest 7 and Dragon Quest 8 are very amazing games with a very amazing story, 7 especially. Bastion for an action RPG, it's similar to Secret of Mana playstyle but was released this or last year, can't remember.
