1970s--greatest Decade For Music?

Sure, it had its bad moments. Yes, I'm looking at you, "Disco Duck." But what decade had as much innovation in genres, whether they be newly created or fully formed? Electronic, metal, prog, punk, jazz fusion, avant-garde/art rock...even hip-hop started in the late '70s. What do you guys think? I hear people like the '80s a lot.
