Songs for the Deaf
Hard-rocking guitars. Great drumming. Nice vocals. This album would be higher
on my list, but I believe the individuals pieces of this album could have been
All to often, when Blind Melon is mentioned, I hear "Aren't they that one hit wonder
band?" Obviously they missed the other 12 songs on the album. It's an overall
great album, but the guitars really make it something special for me.
Origin of Symmetry
Origin of Symmetry is a great album, and strangely reminiscent of Radiohead.
Though much is borrowed, this album is overwhelming fresh and musically vibrant.
From the beautiful "Black" to the hard-rocking "Jeremy" this album was the very
meaning of GRUNGE.
The Sufferer and the Witness
For me, this album found a perfect medium between modern rock, and traditional

The strangest, and yet one of the most brilliant albums I've ever listened to was
MBV's Loveless. It took me awhile to "understand" the aurora of sound, but when I
did I found its brilliance.
|4||A Perfect Circle|
Being one of the more under appreciated bands, A Perfect Circle showed great
technicality and power in songs such as The Noose, Gravity, The Outsider, and Pet.
OK Computer is a technical beauty! When listening to this album, the last thing that
comes into my mind is to skip any one song.
R.E.M.'s Murmur DEFINED alternative. This album features a perfect blend of
vocals, bass, guitar, and drums. Some how, the instruments never overpower

Siamese Dream is my top pick. Power chords and quiet, but powerful vocals make
this album an absolute pleasure to listen to.
