Best Metal Albums

I just joined and these are the best metal album in my opinion
1Whitechapel
This Is Exile

if it werent for whitechapel deathcore would not be where it is today. amazing riffs, monster vocals, and insane drumming make this the best in the metal genre
2Parkway Drive
Killing With A Smile

parkway drive aren't really metal but they're a hardcore band with metal influences. great drumming with awesome powerful lyrics make this a focal point of the hardcore genre
3Killswitch Engage
The End of Heartache

if it wasn't for these guys and this album the metal genre wouldn't be where it is today. they let go of howard and brought back jessie which i think is a huge mistake
4In Flames
Come Clarity

i don't understand why everyone hates on these guys so much. they abandoned their old boring sound and went with something new and then perfected it on come clarity
5Northlane
Discoveries

very emotional metal inspired hardcore with some seriously insane vocals and riffs
6Carnifex
Hell Chose Me

their vocals are scary good
7As I Lay Dying
The Powerless Rise

i just started getting into these guys and they totally shred. i love their vocals and the drums are insane!
8Job For A Cowboy
Ruination

this is death metal at its best. genesis has inspired a bunch of then newer death metal bands like suicide silence but they really nailed their sound down on ruination
9Through The Eyes Of The Dead
Bloodlust

vocals are scary cool and the riffs are great. one of the heaviest albums i've ever heard
10Killswitch Engage
As Daylight Dies

the end of heartache is a hundred times better but this is definitely their second best and still a milestone in metal
