Saw Filter and Helmet lastnight in St. Louis. It was my first rock show, rand it was fucking awesome. Got thrown into a mosh during Helmet. rRichard Patrick stage dived during Welcome To The Fold and I held him rby the arm while he screamed in my fucking ear. Small venue, very up rclose and personal. Helmet, sonically, sounded massive. Loud, punchy, rand not overwhelmingly so. Perfect sound. Filter put on an exhilarating rshow, Patrick knows how to get a crowd fired up. FUCK FOLK REVIVAL! rFUCK BANJOS! WE'RE PISSED! Yelling my head off through 'Hey Man, rNice Shot' was an amazing moment.
