YankeeDudel 05.15.12	Screaming does take some practice to get right and some guys make it sound cool, but actual singing still takes more talent to me and sounds better. The guys I respect the most are the ones who can do both because thats much more dynamic.

I have been doing harsh vocals for over 2 years of nearly all kinds and it takes a lot of practice and dedication to get good just like any other instrument. Screaming is a bitch to learn because each type of scream is mutually exclusive for example: because you can do highs and metalcore lows doesn't mean you can do death metal lows or death core lows, then of course there is the whole false chord versus fry aspect- each kind of scream takes quite a while to learn.

However, once you have them down, I think it's much more satisfying to just scream through how you feel towards the words you're saying instead of foucusing on what type of screaming you're doing. I don't see why natural born talent is praised anyway it makes no sense to think someone is more deserving of praise because they were born with something they had no control over.
