My musical past
My musical past was kinda funny.Back then, when i was 10 or rsomething(i'm 20), Music wasn't really.... anything meaningful to me, it rwas just... sound, beats and singing people rambling(English isn't my native rlenguage and i didn't understand english back then), pretty much anything rcould satisfy me, to Britney Spears' "Oops, i did it again" to Limp Bizkit's r"Nookie".Yeah.... i didn't had a taste, a standard, a favorite genre, nothing, rmusic was fun sound and rthat was it.With that in mind, i made this list, i rguess because i wanted to remove this demons out of my chest, to look rback clearly and see how much my taste for music has changed, and to rjust... see the music that, let's say, "represented" me during that age. Also, i rwanna make it clear that i still listen to a selected few, but for the most part, rthis is ALL in my past.
i think it's pretty safe to say that about 95% of the people who are around my
age had a "Linkin Park phase" at some point....
|2||System of a Down|
(i still love SOAD)
Yeah.... i told you my Music past was... funny.
Particularly "The Cup of Life". That song is actually one of the first i
remember listening, EVER.
It was everywhere.
Remember them? i didn't until recently
(i still listen to Eminem)
|11||Three Days Grace|
(I still listen to them. Occasionally, anyway)
...Or well, rather, just "All my life" (i still listen to them)
You can argue all you want. I Don't listen to them anymore.
No, i am not a girl. i was just... special
euh..... Yup. Damn you Spider man.
(i still listen to them, On occasion)
It truly does.
Dude, don't freak out... but based on this list, I think we're twins who've been separated at birth.
heh, do keep in mind that with the exception of SOAD, Blink, Offspring, FF and Em, i don't listen to this stuff
Haha of course I don't listen to Backstreet Boys anymore, but when I was around 10 this was what I listened to. Also listened to RATM
lol backstreet boys
but yeah I was obssessed with 1,2 and 15 for a very long time
i discovered RATM at around early 2010, i still love them.
it's total bullshit that a large part of the stuff i listen to today was here on the internet before i even got to the internet for the first time and yet i wasted my time listening to this shit(like i said, with exceptions)....
yeah, looking back, it really makes me lol, i still don't understand what it is that i liked about the BSB.
i'm still a huge fan of 2.
1 is so true
Linkin Park was freaking everywhere after "Hybrid Theory", and hell in my country english spoken music isn't all that big.
Almost everyone who is around my age loved LP once.
yep I did its true
never dug linkin park maybe cos i was jamming the jams or because i was straight i dont know
Nah man, it was 2deep4u
"never dug linkin park maybe cos i was jamming the jams or because i was straight i dont know"
its cuz you were too busy thrashing at a premature age
while my friends were jamming linkin park, which i've always found to be repulsive, i was jamming motherfucking ac/dc.
i did have a n-sync/spice girls phase though, but i was like 8...
I still listen to 2, 8, 12, 13, 14 and 18.
Never went through a Linkin Park phase personally.
Of course there are exceptions.
I'm just saying almost everyone i know went through it.
theres nothing wrong with nirvana, some people just dont get it.
i didn't say there was something wrong with Nirvana, i just said that it was in my past, and the
reason for that is that i simply don't think they're anything special.
and what do you mean "don't get it"? i've been hearing that a lot from Nirvana fans, but they never
1 - first album is tops mate!
2 - kick a lot of ass
7 - seen them live when i was young
8 - very clever bloke who didnt give a fuck what people thought, legend
9 - first album is good
12- couple of good albums
14 - unplugged album is great
15 - these were cool at one point
yeah, SOAD kicks a lot of ass and still does.
well, i haven't heard "Hybrid Theory" in a long time.... maybe.... idk
my parents had me growing up listening to the who and led zeppelin, i'm pretty grateful for that
by the way, the whole not getting nirvana is bullshit. some people like it, some people don't
