11.06.12 | I'm actually relatively excited for this. Neal is a pretty well respected astrophysicist, and I'm intrigued to see how it will turn out. Cosmology has always fascinated me to no end so I have high hopes for this show. |

I have hopes as well. Carl Sagan is one of my largest inspirations. Cosmos was simply astounding and still is to this day. I'm a bit skeptical about Seth Macfarlane being a part of this, though. |

11.06.12 | if he's just producing it then nothing bad in his part will affect the show
*neil describes space
*cut-off with cartoon gag joke scene involving farts

Agreed. |

11.06.12 | I think Seth Macfarlane is just going to help finance the show and have very little creative input.

Don't get me wrong, he's a smart guy and an even smarter business man. He's just an odd ball considering who's involved with the series. |

Oh believe me, I'm no fan of Seth Macfarlane, and I was skeptical about his involvement because I thought he was going to
change the show from its serious philosophical approach to a "Bill Nye The Science Guy"-esque direction (Nothing against Billy
Nye, I loved his show.). But Seth seems to be very serious about this and has said he's fond of Carl Sagan's work and astronomy
as a whole. So I'm pretty confident it will be great. |
