This is probably a really weird choice for the top spot, but Jeremy's vocals make it
for me. During the verses, they just sound so desperate and full of longing. The
sporadic drum rolls as well as the lazy guitar strumming suddenly kicking into a
devastating heaver section just makes me unable to rank it any lower.
Another masterful use of contrasting dynamics, with some seriously sublime
Probably the best guitar part out of all the songs, with some incredible post-rock
Probably the most gut-wrenching song on here. I can't think of a better way to close
out the album than with this song.
|5||Song About An Angel|
A dynamic rollercoaster of a tune, both musically and emotionally.
One of the most satisfyingly epic choruses in all of emo-dom.
Probably gonna get a lot of shit for where i put this

Contains one of the album's best moments (2:47) but Jeremy strains a lot more than he should during the
Nate's best performance on the album. The piano is heartbreaking.
Never really got into this one as much as everyone else did.
Sweet track (as they all are) but kinda takes away from the surreal, saddening mood
of the other tracks.
so yeah weird ranking but let me know what you guys think
i'd definitely put Round higher, i love that one hard. i don't remember what most of these tracks are from the titles.
^ Pheurton Skeurto is a piano ballad, Grendel has the ambient intro and outro
if that clears any questions up
Song About an Angel would be my 1.
In Circles would he my 2.
Other than that, sweet list.
diary's not a 5 for me but it's getting there.
i oughta jam this again, i can't even remember how the last group of songs sounds :[
It was one of the first albums I got from here when I first joined along with f#a#oo, The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place, and TDAGARIM. All of them are 5's.
Damn I realized I havent jammed to this in a long time. Gonna jam this on repeat tonight now, thanks dude
demi: NOOOOOO THOSE ARE THE BEST ONES
Nice list! Grendel would be my favorite, followed by Song About an Angel. I don't think that 48 at the top is weird at all.
I prefer How it Feels to be Something On as a full album, but Diary monopolized my old CD player for quite a time.
