1st List In Ages - New Stuff

List of some new stuff I've been into over the past week, been sick, just been jamming some metal
1A Feast For Kings
Hell on Earth

Pretty good new metalcore band. This EP was just released. There's some poor
moments but there's also some great stuff. Cleans are refreshingly different.
Definitely worth checking out. The last minute and a half of React/Regret is one of my
favorite moments of 2014 so far.
2How the West Was Won
Wild and Waste

Check out the song Transmissions. Its pretty awesome. The rest isn't bad either, but
that track is different and the definite highlight.
3Adestria
Gilded Hearts

The album isn't always consistent, but there's a few great tracks. Propheteering is a
definite standout and In Debt To Death has a pretty dope pump-up chorus. "(in debt to
death) We live like seconds are years, we all pay, we're paying the end, (so we live)
at the edge just to see how close we can get, so when we're put in the ground, we
have no regrets!"
4Killer Be Killed
Killer Be Killed

Just some good heavy metal. Face Down and Curb Crusher are my personal favs.
5More Than Life
What's Left of Me

Some pretty emotional hardcore. Vocalist definitely took some getting used to, but
after that, started to appreciate the feeling he put into it and this album started to
sound pretty sick. Do You Remember is probably my favorite but there's other good
tracks for sure.
6Katatonia
Kocytean

Every once in a while Katatonia just sounds great to me. Don't know if this album is
really as good as I think it is now, but I've been digging it hard.
7HerEcho
Standing Tall

Pretty unpolished metalcore band with a touch of electronics and orchestral elements,
but they're heavier than that description makes them sound despite slightly whiny
clean vocals. Probably an easy band to shit on, and they definitely have a lot of room
for improvement, but they've written some catchy and aggressive tracks and I'm
feelin it. Digging the track Betrayer right now.
8Darkest Hour
Undoing Ruin

Not a new album but it was new for me and it kills so...
9 Conditions
You Are Forgotten - EP

Not a new EP either, but I had only heard Conditions recent stuff and I was intrigued
by their heavier songs like Skeleton and Walking Separate Ways and then I heard this
EP which is far more angsty and aggressive. Great EP.
10 In Flames
Siren Charms

Hasn't come out yet/haven't been jamming it obviously but I'm stoked hard enough
that it makes the list anyway.
