InnocentShadow 02.24.13	it's a very consistent album; the majority of the songs can be listened to without being skipped. there are some nice little quirks in some of the songs which keep them interesting. the melodic approach shines through and it is evident that the band has understood what works well for them. the lyrics are very good at times and very bad at times, which is definitely odd. overall, the album is a logical step from There is a Hell, drawing in the better elements of their previous album while shedding, for the most part, the dead weight holding them back. favourite tracks: Can You Feel My Heart, Sleepwalker, And the Snakes Start to Sing

FourthReich 02.24.13	it was pretty good, i'm actually a bit disappointed as all this hype led me to believe it was going to be much better. slightly better than their last imo still falls victim to some annoying ass production/effects. thought the vocals were much improved, maybe not so much improved but toned down as oli is realizing the short reaching extent of his vocal ability, and not trying to do to much. he is truly a terrible screamer.

The cleans on And The Snakes Start To Sing remind me of Robert Smith's vocals on Lullaby by The Cure which is pretty fucking cool. Way beyond my expectations for this band, for one Oli really came to shine as a vocalist on here.

The keyboards and atmosphere have taken center stage this time rather than the riffs. On There Is A Hell, the guitars were much higher in the mix while the keys and atmosphere were more in the background. Jordan Fish contributed the most to the songwriting this time while Jona contributed the most on There Is A Hell.
