Topaz 05.21.14	my chart reflects most of what i have, except early on i liked metal and alternative and stuff so ive got a couple hundred of those too (meshuggah, isis, opeth, etc, and some old BM and DM demo tapes)
North0House2 05.21.14	If you have any of Sun City Girls' material in physical you can get away with selling that stuff for an insane amount of money. I saw a used copy of their album 'Torch of the Mystics' going for around $500 on Amazon. Lol.
PappyMason 05.21.14	^ Yeh, some stuff still holds good value on the internet - especially less well known and out of print stuff. It might take a while, but if you have time you'll probably make a good deal of money back. More common stuff you could just flea.
Symphony 05.21.14	Yeah I'm going to sell mine as well, but I want to keep the ones that were pricey and/or are hard to get I have Burning Empires by VNV Empires and damn that's practically obscure. Basically a lot of these futurepop albums I have are a rarity. I'm keeping the ones that are the most dearest to me, but yeah most of mine need to go. Taking up too much space, and it's either that or they go in the attic

ASmallVictory 05.21.14	ive been ripped off a lot over the course of my time collecting albums, seeing as how my tastes change and i get almost nothing back for these things. so def be wise and dilligent with this
Symphony 05.21.14	Yeah, definitely. That's what I'm mostly worried about, but I'm going to really go through them and see which ones need to just go. I'll probably keep all of my Depeche Mode CD's, even though they are incredibly cheap and easy to find. I guess it's because I have their entire discog and really cherish the band, idk

Topaz 05.26.14	i was not aware, no, ive been too busy with finals and coordinating some troubling family stuff to be bothered with listening to anything "The thing is, collecting physical music is almost like a hobby. Have to be careful that I don't regret anything." and that's what it was for me too, for the longest time. having a lot of friends who also share this interest was a big plus too, but i just feel like ive had my fill with this kind of thing and im ready to go completely digital
