Bit late but its w/e 1-9 The Good 10-14 The Bad 15-26 The Ugly 27-41 The Worthy
1Chelsea Wolfe

Chelsea treads more into doom territory and for the most part it pays off. It's not my favorite of hers but she's still a great musician

They have'nt changed for better or worse. They're still good at what they do which is make fun, eccentric jams.
3Autumn, Leaves, Scars

An instrumental doom/black metal band i got into. Really solid
I Am Alive In Everything I Touch

I never expect much but consistency from these guys and they are that. They are a more mature band from when they started out as those rascally goofballs from canada.
5Kendrick Lamar
To Pimp a Butterfly

I love the concept and the message, i just wish it came with more consistency. Regardless the songs that work, work really well. Top notch production too.
6Hawthorne Heights

hey, they made a decent album.
7An Autumn For Crippled Children
The Long Goodbye

It's good enough for me to still like it but they need to spice things up.
8Between the Buried and Me
Coma Ecliptic

This well-weathered band can still make decent tunes even if they lost the junz.
9Coheed and Cambria
The Color Before The Sun

Its fun enough for me to say i like it.
To Those Left Behind

A fitting title for a band who is doomed to be left behind. No charisma, no charm, nothing interesting blessthefall need something i know they cant achieve.
11Breaking Benjamin
Dark Before Dawn

What started as a decent and fun band have turned into a shallow and lifeless husk. Not to mention the amount of time and material the band had to make this.
12Lights & Motion

I remember when i first heard post rock music, it was gentle and beautiful. that was before i realized how every band in the genre likes the jack off to the actual good post rock bands.
13Parkway Drive

you cant spell tired without ire.
14Escape the Fate
Hate Me

fitting in with blessthefall this band seems bitter about knowing theyre old news but are still playing just because its what they know.
15Purity Ring
Another Eternity

How this ended up in the top 50 users albums ill never understand. I thought it was catchy and cutesy at first until i realized that was all purity ring had to offer as i finished the album that felt like one long song that thinks that a girls cute voice behind electronic beats can pass for good music.
16Run the Jewels
Meow the Jewels

i get its for charity, but this is what is what happens when you underestimate your fans.
17Bring Me the Horizon
That's the Spirit

One of the most cynical and hollow albums ive heard this year. Everything sang about hurt, despair, and loneliness comes off as disingenuous considering how on top off the world these guys are.
18Sadistik x Kno
Phantom Limbs

Usually an interesting set of people that completely failed to grab me
19While She Sleeps

i must admit these guys really dug their hooks into me when i heard Dead Behind the Eyes. After having that awe slip away i see them for the boring band they are.
The Ride Majestic

i didnt feel it
21Modest Mouse
Strangers to Ourselves

i cant even muster up anything to say about this
Pale Horses

or this
Of Ghosts and Gods
24The Black Dahlia Murder

The slump after putting out a highly fun and memorable album.
Atheist's Cornea

they just dont got it no more
All Hands
27No Devotion

Geoff Rickey returns to the music scene as mature and energetic despite being in the music industry in just shy of 20 years. Coming out of the ashes of a rather mundane band before forming No Devotion, the old members of lostprophets emerge with shiny new wings and break free from their old moniker completely. In Permenance, were presented with musicians displayed their emotions at their truest, sounds that echo sorrow, longing, anger, and pain all resonate to the listener in a way that proves No Devotion might just be able to be a forerunner for the music scene in the not too distant future.
28Black Wing
...Is Doomed

doomed to make more music i hope
29Viet Cong
Viet Cong

a throwback to yesteryears golden post punk bands
New Bermuda

why not?
31Dance Gavin Dance
Instant Gratification

DGD seem to have found a comfortable groove after all the awkward moments from Acceptance Speech.
32Hiatus Kaiyote
Choose Your Weapon

Probably the most fun, heartfelt, and danceable album of the year.
33Red Giant (USA-NJ)

A real treat that was hidden away by the onslaught of releases.
34My Dying Bride
Feel the Misery

because they always make good music
The Direction of Last Things

Sludge/prog stuff. its in the top 10 users list.

You really waited until the last second didnt you baroness. a tighter release over green/yellow.
37Cult Leader
Lightless Walk
38The Dear Hunter
Act IV: Rebirth in Reprise
Behind the Devil's Back
Autumn Eternal
41Peter McConnell
Grim Fandango: Original Game Soundtrack

I'm counting this because the game was remastered
