12.31.12 | I've switched major so many times, and now I'm basically a dropout aiming to go back in next September and quickly pinch out the last 3 semesters of my math degree. What you study for your Undergraduate degree barely even matters anymore, so I'm done trying to find the "perfect fit." |

12.31.12 | Good luck man. I'm a law and economics major and although sociology can be interesting everything it preaches is backpacked knowledge from other disciplines in my experience. I'm not aiming for a debate here, just offering an opposing opinion.
Seriously though economics is boring as shit if you don't have the patience for it.
And to throw in some irony related to my first statement, I am currently reading a book on the sociological perspective on piracy as a fringe of economics. Yea the authors are totally legit and have really done their research but everything they use to back-up their claims is historic, economics, and legal.
Sociology = the spine that holds together the many different disciplinary chapters contained in the book of academia. |
