Dark Souls Ranked
A music related list that ranks the soundtracks of Dark Souls, possibly my favorite RPG of this generation.(2nd being Demon's Souls) The soundtrack is fantastic and the bosses are great (well most of them) |

Ceaseless Discharge- It's hard to pick the 'worst' song in the soundtrack but i would say CD's theme excited me the least. CD is quite a boring boss but his design is great (if you understand the lore, you will love it even more) |

Gaping Dragon- Gaping Dragon's theme is quite intense but doesn't stand out from the rest of the boss themes. It's not a bad theme, it really makes the boss fight fast paced and intense but just doesn't stand out. |

Chaos Witch Quelaag- Quelaag's theme is creepy and disturbing. Although i find her theme to be quite annoying, the theme fits Quelaag very well. |

Four Kings- A very chaotic and eerie theme. Very fitting for the four kings, former rulers of New Londo. Too bad everyone rushes to kill the four kings before being able to hear their theme. |

Seath the Scaless- i don't know why such a boring boss like Seath was given such a great theme, but oh well... This track is great and makes the boss fight less boring than it already is. |

Crossbreed Priscilla- an eerie and mysterious theme that fits Priscilla and the painted world very well. I like Priscilla, but her boss fight was pretty gimmicky. |
10 | | motoi sakuraba Dark Souls soundtrack
Bell Gargoyle- Possibly a very recognizable theme as this is the first serious boss you fight. (Taurus Demon was a joke) This theme really sets the mood for a dramatic rooftop battle and deserves a spot above the previous song |

Bed of Chaos- Another shit boss with a great theme. Well, apart from being one of the few poorly designed bosses, the Bed of Chaos has a cool theme. (btw this boss is absolute horseshit) |

Great Grey Wolf Sif- I wish i could place this track higher because i love it so much. Sif is one of my favourite boss designs and his theme is great. Very tragic and and beautiful. |
7 | | motoi sakuraba Dark Souls soundtrack
Dark Sun Gwyndolin- I would say this is equally as good as Sif's theme but i can't choose so i ranked those two in boss order. Gwyndolin is an interesting character but i'm not going to have a lore discussion so i'll just say that HIS theme is very mysterious, dark and pleasing to the ear.

Gravelord Nito- Definitely the creepiest, darkest and most disturbing theme in the soundtrack. Very fitting for the Gravelord Nito, who is pretty much |
5 | | motoi sakuraba Dark Souls soundtrack
Iron Golem- Although his boss fight isn't anything special, his theme is marvelous. This is what all climatic boss theme should be like... intense, loud and epic. I'm sounding like a huge bitch fanboy right now but this deserves a high spot on this list. |
4 | | motoi sakuraba Dark Souls soundtrack
Pinwheel- You're probably wondering: "how did you manage to listen to Pinwheel's theme?!". Well, i have a copy of the Dark Souls soundtrack, which allowed me to listen to this great theme, because we all know Pinwheel dies before his theme even begins. |

Ornstein & Smough- The only reason this beats the Iron Golem, is because the O&S boss fight is my favourite fight in the game and the most epic. Many noobs who can't kill O&S probably get sick of hearing this theme, but it never gets old for me. |

Gwyn, Lord of Cinder- An interesting choice for the final boss fight. Gwyn's theme isn't like the others. There are no vocals or orchestras... Just a beautiful piano piece to accompany you as you face against Gwyn. Why is the final boss theme placed in such a generic position of #1? Play the game for yourself. |
