February 2014 Digs

Continuation of my January 2014 digs list, just some stuff I been listening to recently. List is not ranked.
1Decomposed (swe)

Just some sweet old school death metal, nothing spectacular but enjoyable.
2Black Swan
Tone Poetry

Ambient with a bunch of pleasantries and breezy soundscapes and shit.

Nice and chilled ambient/idm/downtempo whatever (I'm not very good with electronic subgenres), one of favs from this year so far, highly recommended.
4Bishop Usire
Elemental Raga I: Sea Roamer

Potsycore Dig # 1
When Dreams Become Nightmares

Progressive stoner metal with electronic nuances and stuff, got a bit of a gothic vibe here and there.
Svn Eater

Agro old school DM, gets a bit messy here and there but it has riffs so I can dig.
7Lie in Ruins
Towards Divine Death

Was initially hesitant to give this a go because of it's length but it rules. Old school death riffs, sweet atmosphere, what's not to like?

Industrial techno (?) with strong dark ambient vibes, definitely prefer the atmosphere oriented tracks to the beat-driven ones. Sweet rec Cap m/m/
9Morbus Chron

Sputnik's newest holiday romance. But nuh it's actually really cool, sweet, dynamic production, demented riffs and vox, nice acoustics, highly recommended.
The Path of Apotheosis

Technical melodeath, not too sure about the vox but good riffins. Pretty high octane stuff.
Fractal World

Chilled out downtempo stuff, wasn't the most engaging listen at first but makes for some good reading/drawing/studying music.
12Artificial Brain
Labyrinth Constellation

Probably my metal AOTY so far, demented tech death in the vein of Gorguts, Baring Teeth, Demilich etc. I know Wiz get's his knickers in a knot when I say this but it really does sound like Colored Sands. Thank you based Marston.
13Soluna ((Suunae))
The Reverend.Cosmic ((Divine Polaric))

Potsycore dig #2, probably my fav potsycore so far this year
14Black Alice (CA)
Ileana (Your Laugh)

Potsycore dig #3
15Volcanic Queen
Faith in Desire

Noisy, atmospheric, eclectic blend of electronic, acoustic and vocal hoo ha, interesting stuff.
