JokineAugustus: Bands I Would Like To See For The First Time.

LloydNewgreen 12.06.12	Lamb of God are pretty good but they're not spectacular. Chris Adler is perfect behind the kit though. Metallica aren't that great now, but it's good to say you've seen the biggest metal band ever. Lars shits me to no end. I'm seeing them for a second time in March. DEP are crazy, I saw them open for System of a Down and it was off the chain. Check them out if you ever get a chance.
InFiction 12.06.12	Dillinger and BTBAM are both awesome live. I would love to see Zao. Then again, I'd like for them to put out a new album.

XingKing 12.06.12	Minus the Bear's new material translates wonderfully live. It has much more energy and they are so tight together. James Hetfield can't sing for shit now so he single handedly ruins every song. Children of Bodom are decent. Alexi is a pretty sloppy guitarist and he can't play the way he sounds on record but they are still good. Their past three albums have been utter garbage but they sound okay live. Amon Amarth is much better live than they are on record.
JokineAugustus 12.06.12	Wierd about Amon Amarth. I will definitely see them when I get a chance. Their weren't many good shows in my city this year sadly. At least for my taste.
DeadToPain 01.20.13	I remember saying to my friend the first time I saw Amon Amarth, "Damn, dude. That guys isn't playing a normal drum kit. It's made of brontosauraus bones or something". I still to this day don't like a single record of theirs, but I see them live every chance I get. I've seen DEP more than I can count on my fingers and toes, some big places some really small places. The small venue shows were always some of the best I've seen. I saw Zao once in either '97 or '98, they were okay, kinda sloppy. Minus the Bear is amazing because Dave Knudson is one of the best guitarists to ever live in my opinion, plus I think they write with live setting in mind. And I would kill to see the Antlers live. I passed this summer when they opened for the Shins to work at a bar across the street from the ampitheater and made less than a hundred bucks on the shift. I'm still kicking myself in the ass. To hear "Sylvia" and "Bear" live; heaven.
