Trebor.
04.20.12 | I saw them, they're all right |
CoolCalmJD
04.20.12 | not the biggest creed fan but mark tremonti is a pretty cool guitarist. still love to play that six feet from the edge song on guitar |

04.20.12 | @manicmonkey
They're playing the entire Human Clay album, so With Arms Wide Open will be there. |

04.20.12 | I loved Creed as a kid/preteen, so I still have quite a soft-spot for them. Their latest album kinda sucked, save for a few songs, but I still go back and jam out to their old stuff every once in a while.
ONE, OH ONE. THE ONLY WAY IS ONE. |
KSK1
04.20.12 | I'd rather not go to a concert than see Creed but to each his own I suppose. |
JakeStallion
04.20.12 | @KSK1
Like I said, a lot of people dislike Creed but I have a soft spot for them. Plus, the tickets were cheap since my cousin's husband is one of the head guys at the venue they're playing at. |
ZilbelPing
04.20.12 | My first concert was 3 years ago and I've been to many since. I saw three about a month ago and they were pretty alright. Have a good time man. |
JakeStallion
04.20.12 | @ZilbelPing
Thanks man! It's unfortunate that the best bands that come around here are AC/DC and Creed. Tool had a concert here not too long ago, but the tickets sold out within hours, before I was even able to look them up :( |

Dammit...I mean't *NOT* often. |

04.20.12 | Creed was my first concert back in the day, they are great live. Seen them a few times. |
JakeStallion
04.20.12 | @Systemunfolded
I agree. There were only a few songs (Overcome, A Thousand Faces, Suddenly, Rain) that impressed me. The rest of the songs were pretty boring or too same-y to really enjoy. |
Blackbelt54
04.20.12 | Unless you're south of like Maryland I would think youd get a lot of shows on the east coast |
JakeStallion
04.20.12 | @Blackbelt54
I live in a small town in Rhode Island, so the closest place to me that gets any decent bands is about an hour away in Connecticut at the Mohegan Sun Arena. That's where the Creed concert is at. Most other bands that perform there are either bands that I don't know or bands that I don't particularly care for. |
Blackbelt54
04.20.12 | Oh ok an hour drive isn't awful but I wouldn't go that far on a regular basis for shows, I understand |
bonus
04.20.12 | Problem is the first concert you saw will be tough to beat. AC/DC use to put on quite a show. Don't worry about what other people think about the music you like. Concert tickets are a major fucking investment these days. Don't let other people take away from the experience. |
JakeStallion
04.20.12 | @bonus
I've never been a fan of AC/DC, but I must admit that it was one hell of a show. They really got the fans involved and it was just a great experience. The final solo for Let There Be Rock was extended by about 20 minutes and throughout it, Angus was traveling in and out of the crowd while playing. It was awesome. |

04.22.12 | lol creed. +1 for diggin erra though! |
Hubcool
04.22.12 | Dude, fuck 'arena' shows seriously, outdoor festivals/clubs/bars is where it's at, tbh I don't see how you can stay on your ass during a music concert. |
AtomicShane
04.22.12 | ^ moshing to creed ftw |
Hubcool
04.22.12 | Ofc, it implies seeing something else than Creed lol |
Butkuiss
04.22.12 | My first concert was Parkway Drive, closely followed by Them Crooked Vultures.
A friend of mine had it right when he said that "Parkway Drive concerts are a rite of passage for Australian blokes. Instead of a bar mitzvah we have the breakdown in Boneyards".
Also, Dead Letter Circus are fucking AMAZING live. |
AtomicShane
04.22.12 | yeah i understood, just cant pass up a creed joke! |
rockandmetaljunkie
04.22.12 | ugh creed |
AtomicShane
04.22.12 | i wana see parkway so bad live, but they never come to the states |
ZombicidalMan
04.22.12 | Drove 800KM to Vancouver to see The Ocean and BTBAM together, was honestly completely worth it. Now I'm not a huge fan of either, but I'm still glad I went. Now this summer I'm going to Iron Maiden with my dad, must say I'm stoked about that. The one band we both love... |
JakeStallion
04.22.12 | The concert was actually really awesome! Creed is surprisingly good live. They played with a lot of energy and the songs were spot on, with even a few improvised solos here and there by Tremonti :)
@sonictheplumber
ow meanie :(
@Hubcool
I actually front row seats, so I stood up against the guard rail the entire time.
@Butkuiss
You're so lucky! I was supposed to go see Fair To Midland with Dead Letter Circus this past Wednesday with my girlfriend but I ended up getting into an accident a couple days prior so I wasn't able to make it :/

04.22.12 | my second concert ever was Brand New |
JakeStallion
04.22.12 | @AnarchistFish
That must've been awesome! |
anarchistfish
04.22.12 | oh yeah |
Hubcool
04.22.12 | Fighting for the guard rail is even funner! :p
But yeah, the important point is, if you enjoyed arena concerts, make sure to try the others too one day |

04.22.12 | lol |

Hopefully once I get out of school and get a decent paying job, I'll be able to go to a lot more concerts!

Thanks for your feedback! |
