3 | sleepy.ab
http://youtu.be/FgidIXOiJWA - Band is rather blatantly flaunting their Radiohead worship. Their vocalist's voice actually sounds like japanese Thom Yorke too. If you enjoy Radiohead's The Bends - Kid A era, this is for you. |

6 | the band apart
http://youtu.be/wRlYR4zFuh8 - Smooth, chill math-rock with engrish vocals. As far as japanese bands singing in english goes, these guys are actually rather good. For fans of bands such as Minus the Bear. |
7 | Strawberry Song Orchestra
http://youtu.be/64YjLwEc7r4 - First visual kei band on this list. Don't skip them just for that, though. They're not as flamboyant as their contemporaries ( except for their bassist ) Band consists of 15 members, most of them being actors. They combine theatrics and traditional japanese music with punk, jazz and hard rock. |

15 | goatbed
