Death Ranked

So this is my first attempt at a 'ranked' list. Hope this won't get me too much hate, but Death are a very hard band to rank, seeing as they have such a consistent discography. I don't dislike any of their albums; in fact I only have one rated below a 4.
7Death
Scream Bloody Gore

Still a great album, but my main problem lies with the production. It's a bit
too muddy for my liking and the riffs can be hard to hear at times. Other
than that it's a great album.
3.5
6Death
Spiritual Healing

I would say it's overlooked, but then again I have it down as 6th so I can't
really say that. But yeah, this album began to mark the shift from traditional
death metal to a more technical side.
4.0
5Death
Leprosy

Definitely a step up production wise from Scream Bloody Gore.
4.0
4Death
Human

I found it really hard to rank the top 4 in order. This is where they really
established their sound as a tech-death band, and boy is this a killer album.
It's scary to think at this point that they just got better.
4.5
3Death
Individual Thought Patterns

There's something about this album that just pips Human. Perhaps it's the
longer track time, or maybe it's the fact that the bass got a revamp in the
studio and is a vital aspect of the album.
4.5
2Death
The Sound of Perseverance

The guitar talent in this album is unbelievable, and Chuck really is at the top
of his game here. The cover of Painkiller is pretty sweet too.
4.5
1Death
Symbolic

In my opinion, Chuck's vocals are at their best here, finding a nice balance
between his low grunts in Scream Bloody Gore and the ear-piercing highs in
The Sound of Perseverance. Everything else it top notch, and there's no let
up. Everything Death was culminated with this album.
