07.24.06 My favourite albums

My favourite albums
1Jimmy Eat World

In my opinion, a perfect album. From the faster songs such as Just Tonight and Pain, to the slower, more mellow songs like Kill and 23, this album is amazing in every way.
2Brand New
Deja Entendu

This is the album that majorly got me into slower, more acoustic music. Mixing various styles, this album seems to have something for most people.
3I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody\'s Business
Self Titled

Ace Enders is a genius, and this album is proof. Some of his songs are very simple, yet he sings with sincerity that make them sound so much better.
4Say Anything
...Is A Real Boy

This album is full of amazing songs, and the lyrics are usually very impressive in an aggressive way.
5Jeff Buckley

Buckley was amazing, and this album is a perfect way of showing that. Hallelujah is the standout track for me, and it is leagues ahead of the original, or any of the other cover versions of it.
6Jimmy Eat World

Another amazing album by Jimmy Eat World. It would have been higher up, but I didn't want the top 2 places dominated by the same band.
7Straylight Run
Self Titled

Great cd, and it really surprised me when I first heard it. John Nolan had gone from being in one of the scenes most popular bands, to writing piano rock songs featuring great vocal harmonies with Michelle's voice.
8Elliott Smith
Roman Candle

Great album by Elliott. The sound quality isn't that impressive, but his voice and guitar playing really make up for that, with this cd showing off some of his great songwriting skills.
9The Early November
The Mother, The Mechanic, And The Path

I haven't had these discs long, but they have quickly become one of my favourites. The first two discs are great by themselves, but then there is The Path, which in my opinion, is too good for words. I can see this being in the top 3 after more listens.
Origin Of Symmetry

Amazing album, with great guitar, piano and bass playing, and it features songs which are full of energy. Definately the best cd by the best band from the UK.
