Have I heard any of your music yet? If not, I'd be happy to check it out bro.
Also, yeah harsh vocals can def take some time and practice. Sometimes you have to find out what anatomically works best for you, ie. high pitched or low pitched, then work on that style first and try to perfect it; then move on to something perhaps more challenging if you want to create greater range and dynamics.
A good study for harsh vox is actually saying the ABC's in that style and also using a keyboard and matching your pitch whilst gradually increasing the pitch as well as your breadth of it, ie. the volume that you do it as well.
I rarely practice my harsh vocals because I don't really have a need to but someone developing that skill, practice may be def necessary. Best wishes on that. |
