| Captain Recs For You 3
swee | | 1 | | Hidden Orchestra Night Walks
Amazing ambient jazz/electro. Hidden Orchestra are quickly becoming one of my favorites bands in this era. The moods are spacey, zoney, encapsulating, and even mostly melancholic. The jazzy drums are sometimes reminiscent of Cinematic Orchestra's "Motion" and breathe great deals of traveling depths. Post-jazz rock pierces from time to time as well. Get this now hard. 4/5 | | 2 | | Shrine Somnia
Awe yes my friend, the essence of emotion. Shrine creates the perfect foundation for any scene. The execution of ambient/electronic here is relative to any backdrop of emotion to a visualistic pursuit of furtherance. With production that is a fair balance of bass-heavyness and trebling electricity, every track aims to cover the low, mid, and high receptors of the human brain. The droning crust-clutter creates a psychadelic atmosphere, perfect for loosing ones self. A highly recommended of 2012, proving to be within the ranks of thy best. 4/5 | | 3 | | Algol Follow The Cepheid Light
Sweet ambience of space balls this is good. Phasings of in and outs with rombulus tots beckoning the waves walrus damtaptations beyond the north. You must check this, thy shall check, thou do do. 4/5 | | 4 | | Kammerflimmer Kollektief Absencen
Amazing chill mellow jazz that zones hard and causes the mind to travel and go places. I highly recommend checking this out, she is quite tasty. The perfect album to relax to and let your worries fade away. 4/5 | | 5 | | Huldra Signals From the Void
With similar musical ties to Isis, Neurosis, and Russian Circles, Huldra still maintains a fresh feel to their approach. With mellow-darkened moods they progress well using piano build-up harmonies and crusty guitars that suck you in. There are even ambient-droning synths that serve as a backdrop to their post approach; adding greater variability. Their sense of proper dynamics is what really carries Signals. The sophisticated moods are a true delight. I have high hopes for what they might do in the future. Strong post-rock rec here seons. 4/5 | |

not really too masterful over jazz-rock. Users Paperbackwriter, JT, and Jethro would be best for those type of rec's. but from what I do know check:

Allan Holdsworth - Metal Fatigue

Jefferson Airplane - Surrealistic Pillow
