accompliceofmydeath 01.24.12	I rate based on first listen as well, but sometimes end up going back to change it after multiple listens. I too have albums I enjoy but only listen to once. Not enough time in the day.

Pentagon 01.24.12	I usually rate after 1 listen but often Ill go back and change it. I review after about a minimum of 5 listens or so.

jlech 01.24.12	I agree with being able to fully form an opinion on mediocre stuff after 1 listen. I don't think I've ever had an album go from a 2.5 to 4 or higher. When I re-rate the highest change is almost never more than a 1 point deviation.

Knott- 01.24.12	Who cares when you rate stuff? Review-wise, though, you should write when you feel entirely comfortable about what you're saying. At times that's after 3 listens; at times I still have my doubts after 30.

bloc 01.24.12	I rate after first listen. And then I change it on second listen sometimes. And then change it again on third listen etc. This system works for me.
Oathbreaker 01.24.12	I don't rate albums but I listen to most albums 4-5 times before a review. Other times 1 listen is enough. Sometimes I review things that I've probably listened to over 30 times anyway.
