nolan is a super overrated director, though. tdk's awesomeness was the result of heath ledger's joker and not much else (seriously, remember when nolan left joker in the highrise full of defenseless rich people and then simply cut to the next scene). he's basically to film what the foo fighters are to music: consistently pretty good, adored by the masses, and never aiming much higher than the status quo. |

Skyfall (Javier Bardem, Sam Mendes directing, a return back to the exploration into the psyche of Bond)
