01.16.13 | I must be admit, I've always found Philosophy in general to be a pile of worthless nonsense since essentially it is all purely speculation (usually unfounded too), but your thoughts were fun to read and I appreciate the effort you took in explaining them. Cheers. |

01.16.13 | "Science can also be an orchestration, or "coded rules." in this world, we truly have no proof of anything."
congrats for discovering feyerabend and his concept of epistemological anarchism damn ur so observant dude
"There are a few possibililies after death (an infinite number, actually). We can reach the afterlife which is meant to make us believe we are in the farthest shell out. But there is a very strong possibility that the afterlife is governed by the same overworld. In this world, we can also never know anything. After death, another possibility is that we fade into nothingness from which point we know nothing. Yet another possibility is that we reach out to the governing world..."
not philosophy
"Assuming there is eventually the ultimate causality who activated all following potential, we will never know if we have reached it."

01.16.13 | I'm not sure if people who mock philosophy and say it's useless jibberrish are unaware that philosophy is useful or are just too dim-witted and shallow to think about the nature of things and ideas. You don't have to dedicate an academic career or try to be a professional published philosopher to dabble in complex thought process.
As for your ideas, Floyd, I don't understand what the real world and potential afterlife/beforelife worlds have in common with coded digital 'worlds'. What similarities or differences do you think they have? |

01.16.13 | this thread's direction is the right one. philosophy in sputnik shouldn't exist. |

01.16.13 | I remind you that philosophy is not about daydreaming ideas and thoughts about questions (the description I gave is closer to poetry). Every answer has to be inquired in order to find out if it has any impasse or contradiction. |
CrimsonFloyd
01.16.13 | DamnVanne: Good question. Coding is not necessarily the path we will take to creating functional worlds with interactions, though it has the potential to do so when we move beyond the computer monitor. Right now, it doesn't look like much considering our limited gaming programs. But with progress, it is a definite possibility. A vehicle for creating worlds that fit into this theory. |

01.16.13 | Philosophy is interesting but when it comes down to it each person has their own philosophy to life and how they perceive it and what works for them. There is no true god, it's not like he could make himself. The Universe created itself and has developed over trillions and trillions of years getting smarter and constantly learning how to create things better. Death is just that, a non-material existence, karma and acts of good and bad will determine your next existence, it's just the natural order of things. |

01.16.13 | "What never varies is the necessity for [people] to be in the world, to work in it, to live out [their] lives in it among others, and, eventually, to die in it... And, as diverse as humanity's projects may be, at least none of them seem wholly foreign to me since each presents itself as an attempt to surpass such limitations, to postpone, deny, or come to terms with them." - Jean-Paul Sartre

01.16.13 | You’ve got to be kidding me, six. I’ve been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It’s just common sense. |
