10.25.11 | I'm not too familiar with their material, but if you haven't dove into them already The Mars Volta is amazing, and has a couple of the same members as ATDI. The key members, at least. |

10.25.11 | ^they don't really sound alike though |

10.25.11 | The Tremulant EP is prob the closest thing they have that sounds like AtD-I. Check out TMV though. Awesome band. |

10.25.11 | Here's some bands, though
Haymarket Riot-Endless Bummer
Lady Radiator-Bounce Energy Hear Me Out
The Mars Volta-Tremulant EP
Dance Gavin Dance-Happiness (not really AtD-I ish, but a great Post-hardcore record regardless)
Fugazi-The Argument
Drive Like Jehu-Yank Crime
Sparta-Wiretap Scars
The Fall of Troy-Doppelganger
Frodus-And We Washed Our Weapons in the Sea
All I could think of right now. |

10.25.11 | i think I Am Alaska sounds pretty similar though not as good. they seem to have a more mellow sound than AtD-I, but the vocalist has a pretty distinct delivery that kinda reminds me of Cedric at times. |

10.25.11 | ACROBATIC TENEMENT WAS AWESOME!!!!! Mars volta is the best! |
NeutralThunder12
10.25.11 | listen to volta
The Fall of Troy might interest you if you like At the Drive In, but I don't like either band. people who like atdi usually like fall of troy also though |

10.26.11 | Yeah I'm not much for The Fall of Troy either. I mean they have talent, no doubt. I just don't really dig their overall style. But yeah, I'll second myself and the others: The Mars Volta needs checked into. Frances The Mute is the shining moment, in my eyes. |

11.01.11 | I've listened to Volta already though and I heard fall of troy was terrible |

11.01.11 | Who told you that lie? :p
Check out the Ghostship demos (originals) znd Doppelganger for sure, though. That was their most explosive/raw period. |
