Sunday Digs Pt.1
Albums I am listening to now and over the course of the week. |
| 1 | | Sepalcure Sepalcure
I know this has been said probably countless times, but this album definitively reminds me of Untrue and Old
Raves End. Beautiful release. |
| 2 | | Lthrboots Domination
Pretty good EBM mixed with crazy vocals |
| 3 | | Sonny Rollins Saxophone Colossus
Revisited this morning. An amazing Jazz album that is very accessible. |
| 4 | | Camel Mirage
a 2.5 on Allmusic?? They were obviously on something. Very underrated
album that should be checked into more if you like Yes, Rush, King Crimson
etc. |
| 5 | | Ministry Psalm 69
The powerful harsh vocals mixed with the chaotic guitar riffs are the definite
highlights. |
| 6 | | Kate Bush Hounds of Love
I was honestly surprised when I heard this. I'm not a fan of Kate Bush's
material, but this record was packed with emotion and energy. |
| 7 | | deadmau5 For Lack of a Better Name
Same as Kate Bush, I was shocked when I heard this. I was hoping for
another Skrillex 2.0 or something, but man was I wrong. |
| 8 | | Carlos Peron Nothing is True, Everything is Permitted
Carlos Peron always surprises me with what he is capable of doing. I've
noticed throughout NIT,EIP and his LP's in general that he fuses robust EBM
and Dark Ambient, with a small dose of Noise thrown in here and there.
Excellent album. |
| 9 | | Hybrid Morning Sci-Fi
Compared to Wide Angle, this album is slightly faded. It was fairly good for the most part,
but most of the material never really shined as I hoped it would. |
| 10 | | Phace Psycho
Fast paced, aggressive, and hard hitting DnB. Mostly every track has that
same lightning fast beat mixed with some pads and variety of synths.
Awesome album. |
