| The Human Abstract Dropped Their Headline Tour
Went to the "Pull Me From The Gallows" Tour to see The Human
Abstract and Scale the Summit, along with This or The Apocalypse
and No Bragging Rights. I was very pleasantly surprised at the
entire show. | 5 | Scale the Summit
I felt like I was high during the entire set. The combination of the jazzy
bass lines, the soaring guitar melodies, and the slick visualizer at the club
made me feel stoned out of my mind. Fantastic show. Closing the set with
The Great Plains put a great cap on a night I really needed before finals
next week. | 4 | This or the Apocalypse
One of my absolute favorite hardcore bands. The drumming was tight and
on point with the records and the energy wasn't too much of a letdown like
it could have been after seeing Letlive play before them. | 3 | Letlive
I already was very familiar with this band (thanks to sputnik) and they
absolutely tore the place down. They actually had two guys just picking up
shit that was knocked down or broken. Stage presence was beyond
incredible and these guys are an absolute must see. The drumming,
guitars, and vocals were out of this world. Highlights were The Sick, Sick
6.8 Billion and Casino Columbus. | 2 | No Bragging Rights
Incredibly boring, clichéd, and played-out metalcore. Horrible clean vocals
and they probably played the same open, one-note breakdown at least 10
times during the set. No desire to ever hear them again. | 1 | Kills and Thrills
Opening band that recently got added to the tour when THA dropped off.
Very fast, up tempo hardcore that sounded exactly what I'd expect from a 4
piece Long Island band. The small crowd wasn't feeling it at all but they
sounded great and were very energetic despite minimal crowd involvement. | |

06.03.11 | No reason for this, just fanboying Letlive as much as possible. | A7XEric
06.03.11 | No Bragging Rights actually used to be pretty good several years back. They used to be a really melodic pop/punk/hardcore band sort of in the same vein as ADTR (only with less fail), but they sound like ass these days. Scale the Summit ruled when I saw this tour too. | marksellsuswallets
06.03.11 | Played a show with Kills and Thrills a few months ago and they were total douches... | Dryden
