Essential Classic Punk Albums

The title says it all: if you are a fan of classic punk, you cannot live without these albums (personal opinion of course). Happy hunting!
10The Stooges
Fun House

More proto-punk than actual punk, but album rules immensely.
9The Kids
The Kids

Punk from Belgium. Influenced by the Sex Pistols and Ramones (but who wasn't those days?).
8Buzzcocks
Singles Going Steady
7 The Clash
Give 'Em Enough Rope

Underrated second album from The Clash. The lyrics for Tommy Gun (and the other songs) are as revelevant today as they were back then.
6Ramones
Weird Tales of the Ramones

As I couldn't choose between their first 4 albums, you get the definite compilation instead.
5The Undertones
The Undertones

The Irish Ramones, it's as simple as that.
4Sex Pistols
Never Mind The Bollocks

It has become the standard punk album, and for good reason. Never Mind The Bollocks will go down in music history as the most violent album ever released.
3The Jam
In The City
2Stiff Little Fingers
Inflammable Material

Putting this on with the music volume at max, you could very well watch your brain explode. It's that awesome.
1The Clash
The Clash (UK)

The original UK release of their debut album is the definite punk album IMO. The US release is more of a compilation in my eyes, but still also very essential.
