|Metal Songs That Are Fun To Play (on Guitar)|
Maybe they're fun to play on drums, too. Or bass. Does the bassist actually use more than three frets in metal? But whatever, these songs all kick ass, and playing them makes you an asskicker. Be proud.
|1||The Dillinger Escape Plan|
Milk Lizard - It's groovy, fast, and easy. Squeeze those reptilian tits.
We Are The Romans
Saint Matthew Returns To The Womb - Dadada-dun-un! Who doesn't love pull offs?
Black Sabbath - That slow, evil riff, building up to the grand finale. Pretty much anyone can play it.
|4||The Black Dahlia Murder|
What A Horrible Night To Have A Curse - It takes practice, but once you get those triplets down, you can rock out to some good ol' Melodeath.
Transylvania - It's a classic.
The self-titled track, and probably the most defining black metal riff.
Sleep's Holy Mountain
Dragonaut - It's like the heavy, passed out on the floor, hungry for nachos version of Money.
Scream Bloody Gore
Evil Dead - Bruce Campbell's unwavering spirit seems to join you when this song is played. Groovy.
The Sweetest Curse - Sludge-y and catchy. Make sure your strings are thick enough.
War - One string to rule them all.
|Missed a lot of awesome songs, but these came to mind first.|
|I suck at guitar, been trying for ages and just can't seem to grasp, I'm better on the keys.|
|Sweet list, deserves a feature.|
|At The Gates - Slaughter Of The Soul|
Play the whole album in one sitting, it's the most fun you'll ever have
|I'm the same with any keyed instrument, been trying for months to play something decent. I imagine if we keep at it, we'll pull through...|
And Trebor, I couldn't agree more. That album is packed with insanely cool guitar.
