Knowing You'll Never Like A Song The First Time You Hear It?

So a little while ago my girlfriend and I were having a little music discussion, and she boldly stated that she knows whether she likes or dislikes a song either the first couple times, or the first time she hears it. I didn't even know this was possible. Well, actually, to be honest, I still have a little hunch that she just doesn't give some songs/albums enough time/patience, but she will consistently deny that. Sigh. What do you guys think? Can there really be no such things as "growers" for some people? Also, list your biggest growers. First two on the list are mine, along with digs.
1At the Drive-In
Relationship of Command

I was extremely indifferent to this album the first few times I heard it. But I kept listening. Then I bought it. Then it clicked. Now, this is one of, if not my favorite album of all time. Incredible.
2Radiohead
OK Computer

I must've listened to this album in its entirety at least ten times before I started hearing all the beautiful layers and textures this album contains. Let Down used to bore me, now it almost brings me to tears. There isn't a single note on this album I would change now.
