06.14.13 | Music's not about "keeping up", it's just about the enjoyment and inspiration you can draw from it. Sometimes I'll listen to a single band for weeks with little in between just because I'm getting so much from it. There's no need to rush things. |

06.14.13 | I've slowed down a lot compared to what I used to listen to a few years ago when I realised I had some much music I had listened to 1-2 times, rated and moved on. Mass downloading had ruined the appreciation I had at one point where I could listen to an album for a month straight until I had memorised every nook and cranny of it.
I still download more than the average person I'm sure but I've slowed down to try and get to know the collection I've amassed better. I don't even try to keep up with the new "kvlt" releases anymore. |

06.14.13 | Yeah, I usually work by two standards: either solely cataloguing and listening to albums that really leave an impact or downloading many albums I just get enjoyment from. Lately it's been the latter too much, going to shift again to the former. |
