You Don't Have To Love The Band... To Like Their Album

These are albums I can't get enough of, even though not having a totally passionate obsession for the band.
1All Shall Perish
The Price of Existence

I LOVE all the high-pitched screeching in this album!! He sounds like an evil bird of prey from the depths of hell! The double bass is epic and the guitar solos are so scrumptious!
2Children of Bodom
Are You Dead Yet?

The keyboards, the total sense of foreboding, the growls, the epic guitar work. This album is so amazing! Their others are a little too... speed metal for me :/
3Alesana
On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax

I know I'll get flack for this, but I dig the vocals in this album a LOT. I also really like the theme for the lyrics. The feel of this album is just rad!
4Cursive
The Ugly Organ

It feels like nostalgia, but it's a quirky, new friend. Everything about this album is spunky and fun, but biting and sarcastic too.
5From First to Last
Heroine

Vocals. No more needs to be said.
6Royksopp
Melody A.M.

It's the perfect music to listen to while you get ready for a date :)
7 Smashing Pumpkins
Adore

Okay, Okay... I like more than just this album from them! BUT! This is the only one that I literally crave to hear!
8 Trust Company
The Lonely Position of Neutral

Things just got sloppy after this album. No one they broke up!
9Underoath
The Changing of Times

I know I risk pissing off all you crazy Underoath fans out there... especially since there are so damn many of you out there, but this is the only album that I genuinely like a lot.
10Vanna
A New Hope

Maybe I'm just too picky, but their other albums sound too patchworked. This ones flows so much more nicely!
11Winds of Plague
Decimate the Weak

It's creative, grungy, angry, and melodic! Their others lack that certain edginess!
12Emarosa
Relativity

Aside from the fact that I actually liked Emarosa more before Johnny came in, I like this album for one simple fact. It was before Johnny's head got bigger than the band.
