back in 5th grade, I was about to kick a soccer ball but someone else it just before me. They hit it as hard as they could and the ball hit my stomach. I literally couldn't breath for a minute. There was absolutely no serious damage within the next day though but after that, I think I became subconsciously a lot more cautious and afraid of injury that I seriously avoided sports like hell.
I seriously regret that now, but I think a part of my mind will always remember that incident. |
