Get Your Shit Together
Here are a few artists that need to get their shit together. Whether it is that they need a new album or they need new members or even if they just need to release some sort of statement, there's shit that must be done.
Great album. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I saw them live January 28th in Boston, and they fucking owned. Even though Maynard is in APC and he just finished an album with Puscifer, I feel he needs to focus on Tool since, you know, that's his most successful/popular band.
Up was great, but it's been 10 years now. I WANT MOARRRR
Beauty in Destruction
You're obviously not a band anymore, but some form of statement (for the handful of people that actually like you like myself) would be nice.
|5||Circle Takes The Square|
As The Roots Undo
An EP's nice, but you know what's better?
Traced in Air
Again, an EP's nice and all...
I hear that these guys had some issues with their label? Either way, some public statement on what's up would be much appreciated! Cannot wait for Time to get released
|8||System of a Down|
You're back together. Awesome! Now what?
The Obsidian Conspiracy
They need to find new members, and sooner rather than later, if they want to stay a band. Warrel claims that Nevermore isn't dead, but what the fuck is Nevermore without Loomis, Williams, Loomis, and Loomis?
Calling All Stations
For these guys, "get your shit together" kinda means break up. Even though they said that it'd be highly likely they would not release any new music, nobody wants to risk hearing Calling All Stations Part Two.
Not in any particular order or anything like that.
Rage against the machine need a new album too.
ratm just need to reunite for a tour
@Fluttertrank: Fuck yes. Soundgarden should get on that too, eventually.
I thought they did? Or was that a while ago.
#12 and glassjaw too, but they are obvious
Just started getting into Glassjaw. I didn't feel I should add them to this list yet, I don't know enough about them.
oh well you'll find out they are waaaaaaaaay over due lol
Fully agree with the ones in which I am familiar.
unfortunately by the time System got back together i no longer gave a shit about the band. i dont really care about necrophagist anymore either, although i would listen to a new release. and where the fuck is Time? its been 8 fucking years.
Tool already has a release date for the next album.
|A quote from Maynard:
"I'm allowing them their space to do what they do, so we're still in that mode...Even if they told me how close they are to being done, I couldn't tell you because if I say 60 percent people will start counting down. When it's done everyone will know. But I haven't done anything yet. They write forever and then we go in and knock it all out. We're writing. We're writing vocals, but nothing's solid"
fuck you have a trippy profile picture, I saw Tool on Jan 26, they were great but...openers Intronaut one-up'd Maynard's hairy wine-making ass sawry =)
I don't even give a fuck about Wintersun anymore, I'm so sick of their nonsense and claiming there's a new album on the way for literally years now. And yeah, Nevermore without Loomis is like Dream Theater without Petrucci or something.
yea, they are no cannibal corpse allright
Damn, Intronaut opened for them?! Lucky, YOB opened for them when I saw them. Can't say I enjoyed them live at all.
pretty sure 1, 5 and 6 have released statements about what kind of shit they're doing pretty soon.
agreed on peter gabriel though. fuck yeah.
