So Much Music, Such Little Time.
So Much Music, Such Little Time.
Oh, September. And you've only just begun. Yes a few were not released this month. I'm a tad late. Deal with it.
1
Thrice
Major/Minor
Perfect album. Right when the weather starts to pick up. Easily their best IMO. All tracks are flawless but my fav would be 'Promises'.
2
Opeth
Heritage
Let's hope it grows on me. Opening and closing tracks are stunning, though.
3
The Circle Ends Here
Where Time Leaves The Rest
Only found out about this yesterday. It was released in June. Some amazing post rock/hardcore. You must get this.
4
Volumes
VIA
Djent, djent djent. They nailed it. Solid record.
5
Oh, Sleeper
Children of Fire
Very tight metalcore record from these guys. Slowly starting to think it may be metalcore AOTY.
6
The Devil Wears Prada
Dead Throne
Can't split 5 and this so far. Loving their sound. Adam D does it again.
7
The Weeknd
Thursday
Easily better then HOB for mine. The birds pt 1&2 are just sublime, and Drake kills it on The Zone.
8
Curren$y
Verde Terrace
This guy can seriously do no wrong at the moment.
9
Dead and Divine
Antimacy
Sounds pretty much similar to their previous effort, but they've stepped up in certain aspects. Don't get the recognition they deserve.
10
Submotion Orchestra
Finest Hour
May very well be my AOTY. Ruby Wood ily.
11
Trophy Scars
Never Born, Never Dead
Incredible. I'm at a loss when it comes to this EP.
12
Wolves in the Throne Room
Celestial Lineage
Have not had the chance to listen to this yet. Like I said, such little time. I'm sure I'll love it.

I wouldn't say Major/Minor is perfect, but it is the first Thrice album since Vheissu that I've actually listened to more than once, so that's a good sign.
