Industrial Hip-hop

I'm kinda surprised there aren't more bands playing this style, considering both genres' love of atonal vocals, heavy beats, and sampling, but whatevs m8
1The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy
Hypocrisy Is the Greatest Luxury

Michael Franti's in this band, it's like finding out that Jack Johnson was actually Trent Reznor all along.
2Death Grips
The Money Store

Stay Noided
3 Consolidated
Business of Punishment

Goofy-as-shit vegetarian industrial rap, tend to be pretty hit-and-miss.
4Meat Beat Manifesto
Actual Sounds + Voices

Sample-heavy and extremely grimy, they're more dub than hip-hop, but they're known to rap from time to time. featuring frequent contributions from Mark Pistel of Consolidated.
5 Merlin
A Noise Supreme

Heavy mix of Industrial Rock, Hip hop, and minor jazz bits. not to be confused with the other Merlin, who is also a Canadian rapper.
6MC 900 Ft Jesus
Hell With the Lid Off

My personal favorite and one of the less politically-motivated MCs in the genre. Later releases would see him incorporating more jazz influences.
7Saul Williams
The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Ni

Saul Williams + Trent Reznnor = good shit
8Tackhead
Friendly as a Hand Grenade

One of the earliest examples of the genre from former members of the Sugarhill Gang house band and UK dub master Adrian Sherwood. Be sure to check out the rest of the ON-U sound system catalogue for other examples of the style including Mark Stewart and Gary Clail's work
